Increasingly companies are choosing to move their contact centres and general office telephony from an on-premise office based solution to a cloud based solution where the equipment is installed in a secure third party datacentre. By moving to the cloud they reduce administration time, maintenance cost, asset depreciation costs and any capital costs associated with the purchase of equipment. With the introduction of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in 2018 increasing attention was focused on the safe storage of customer data. As part of this focus it became important to look at not just how secure their customer data was but in which geographical location it was stored within. Increasing with the uncertainties over Brexit it is important that our customers are given the opportunity to decide if they want to store their own customers data in the UK, EU or both.

Using a cloud based solution generally means that you can remove expensive legacy telecoms kit such as ISDN or Analogue circuits and replace these with VoIP connections which are more flexible and save you money. If you have recently purchased IP phones and don’t want to throw these away, then keep them and wherever possible we will re-register these IP phones onto our own network allowing you to get the maximum benefit from earlier investments. Alternatively we can propose hardware buy-backs and replace with brand new handsets if required.

With our support most organisations find it easy to manage the move. We have migrated large companies with over 600 users and small companies with less then 10 users from an on-premise solution to a hosted cloud solution. We project manage every element of the migration to include new numbers, porting of numbers, new hardware, re-provisioning of existing hardware as required on a customer by customer basis.
